100 Women in Cycling 2025
Nominations for the 2025 awards are now open, so it’s time for you to put forward names of the role models you think deserve recognition!
You don’t need to be a Cycling UK member or a woman to nominate someone. Take some time to familiarise yourself with the categories below and fill out the form with as much detail as you can.
There are four categories you can select from:
Community champion
The unsung heroes of cycling groups. These women teach others how to ride, lead rides and organise groups. They support and encourage and help us find our confidence.
Sporting hero
Women who have achieved and inspired via cycling as a sport. This includes all disciplines and could also include world records and long-distance achievements.
Cycle influencer
People who are in a position to inspire and influence others; they could be Members of Parliament or the press, celebrities or business leaders who have promoted cycling to their followers or employees.
Industry mogul
Women who are breaking down barriers and creating women-friendly spaces in the cycling world. They run bike repair shops, help teach women to fix bikes, run cycling-related companies or build and design new bikes, clothing or accessories for women.
We only include someone on the 100 Women in Cycling list once, so make sure to check our list of previous recipients before making your nomination.
Although some of their work might be based outside of the UK, all nominees should be focused on influencing cycling in the UK.
Women of all ages can be considered. For anyone under the age of 18, permission to be considered must be given by their legal guardian.
All winners will be contacted before the awards are announced. We will endeavour to contact all awardees by October 2025, with the awards being announced to the public by December 2025.
If you have any questions, please contact Events Manager Amy Everard: [email protected].
Submit your nominations by: 5pm, Monday 28 July.
