100 Women in Cycling

Two women are cycling on a paved path in a park. They are both riding hybrid bikes. One is wearing black jeans, trainers, a patterned shirt and grey coat. The other is wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers.
Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling celebrates extraordinary women who inspire, encourage and empower others to experience the joy of cycling

Every year we celebrate the UK’s most inspirational women in cycling through our 100 Women in Cycling awards. These awards recognise and celebrate the contributions of women who promote and encourage cycling.

Cycling UK’s mission is to enable and inspire people from all backgrounds and abilities to experience cycling’s joys and benefits – but we know that far fewer women than men cycle. By addressing this gender imbalance and empowering others to cycle, our 100 Women are making cycling more accessible and inclusive to all and shaping the future of cycling.

Women from all walks of life and every corner of the cycling world have been nominated, from mountain bikers and endurance cyclists to community group leaders, cycling school-run mums and industry entrepreneurs.
