Helen Hines has spent more than 20 years championing inclusive cycling and ensuring people of all ages and abilities can experience the joy of riding.
After years supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, she opened Simply Cycling at Longford Park, which has grown into a thriving charity with three Manchester sites and more than 2,500 monthly riders using its extensive fleet of adapted bikes.
Now General Manager, Helen leads staff and volunteers, runs weekly sessions and ride-outs, and organises UK and overseas cycling trips. Warm, patient and endlessly encouraging, she creates spaces where confidence grows, friendships flourish, and everyone feels able to ride, have fun and belong.
