Carol discovered cycling in 2020 and quickly turned her new passion into purpose. From learning to ride in lockdown to becoming a qualified Cycling UK instructor and group ride leader, she now teaches women across Manchester to ride confidently. Through Bike Hive she leads inclusive rides using quiet routes, cycle lanes and canal paths to explore beautiful spaces rarely seen from busy roads. The rides help people from all backgrounds to exercise, socialise and increase their wellbeing. Her dedication has strengthened her community and inspired countless women to discover the joy and freedom of riding.
