Paula Ralph

Cycled from Cape Town, South Africa to Nordkapp, Norway

Paula Ralph is a sports therapist and ultra endurance cyclist. In 2024, she cycled an astonishing & gruelling 12,200 kilometres from Cape Town, South Africa to Nordkapp, Norway. She rode solo and unsupported, over 126 days all the way across Africa and then up into the Artic circle.

Despite not managing to break the world record she intended to, Paula's story is one of the resilience and mental fortitude it takes to keep pedalling. Since finishing the ride, Paula has started her own foundation, ‘A New Future’, focused on giving children in disadvantaged communities access to mentorship, guidance, and hands-on learning.

"Through countless miles, I discovered not just the limits of my body, but the healing power of movement and connection. Cycling has taught me resilience, purpose, and balance. The road continues to shape who I am and the impact I hope to leave behind."
