Purpose-powered pedalling

Hermione Taylor fell in love with cycling in 2009 when she rode from London to Morocco for climate action – despite having barely cycled before. That life-changing journey inspired her to found Do Nation, encouraging tens of thousands of people to adopt sustainable habits, including cycling to work.

In 2021 she organised the first Ride the Change, uniting 175 riders on a powerful journey from London to Glasgow for COP26. Now an independent, community-led event, Ride the Change brings people together each year for multi-day climate-focused adventures on bikes.

Through her inclusive leadership, Hermione empowers riders to connect, take action and unlock cycling’s potential for people and the planet.
