Founder of Yorkshire Heels on Wheels and Breeze leader
Susan first began cycling to improve her mental health, and decided to become a Breeze ride leader. She found it highly rewarding, watching the women in the group enjoy building their confidence and mileage. After the pandemic, some of the ladies started asking for more exciting and challenging rides, so Susan set up a separate group – the Yorkshire Heels on Wheels social group. She also encourages other group members to lead rides, and all members support and empower each other with all aspects of their rides and touring holidays.
