Bea fell in love with cycling as a teenager racing mountain bikes, which sparked a lifelong passion for active travel and the mountains. After she became a parent, she began seeking adventurous, yet achievable, cycling holidays her children could enjoy too. This led to family rides along the river paths in northern Italy and Austria – gentle, mostly downhill routes through the Alps. These journeys reshaped how Bea and her family travel. She then founded Wild Bee Outdoors, a blog helping families plan independent cycling and hiking adventures in Europe.
