Our activities
About us
We are the local group of the national Cycling UK organisation and cover the postcodes SG1 to SG8
Our led rides include ABC rides for beginners along with half-day, evening, and all-day rides for more experienced cyclists.
We run various special cycling events and social activities throughout the year.
We run Stevenage Cycle Campaign as part of the Cycling UK Cycle Advocacy Network
Information about the group rides
We organise free rides for Cycling UK members.
If you are not a Cycling UK member you are welcome to join us for up to 3 rides. Please complete the Guest registration form which can be downloaded by clicking this link - Guest Registration Form
After 3 rides you will need to join Cycling UK if you would like to continue to join our led rides, see here for details - Cycling UK Membership
Each ride will be led by a Cycling UK Ride Leader - please contact the ride leader in advance to book a place.
The maximum group size is 8 riders; when more than 8 book onto a ride, separate groups will be formed.
There are details about each category of ride on the Cycling UK Stevenage website. Additionally details about each individual ride are given so that cyclists know who to contact to book on the ride and what the destination will be.
We are looking to develop and encourage new Ride Leaders. Ride Leader training and support is available. Please contact the Secretary via the email link on this page if you are interested in becoming a Ride Leader.
