25th April - Crumb's, Watton at Stone

This ride involves about an hour of cycling before stopping at a cafe for tea and cake. 
The ride will be ridden at a moderate pace. You should expect to cycle about 20 miles (32km) at a moving average speed around 11mph (18kph).

2nd May - Bank Holiday Special Saturday Ride

This special ride for the Bank Holiday weekend will start at the earlier time of 11am.
The ride will be about 20 miles and will have a stop in Knebworth

The ride will be ridden at a moderate pace with a moving average speed around 11mph (18kph).

30th May - Spoke Cycle Cafe, Codicote

General Information

These rides are for cyclists aged 18 and over who are comfortable with riding in a group. Every Saturday afternoon, see above for details of individual rides - click on the date for further information and booking details.

Meet at the Stevenage Cycling Hub in Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage at 1.20pm to depart at 1:30pm. 

(Start time is adjusted to 1pm during the winter months out of British Summer Time)

The rides involve about 2 hours hour of cycling plus a stop at a cafe for tea and cake. 
These rides are ridden at a moderate pace. You should expect to cycle about 20 miles (32km) at a moving average speed around 11mph (18kph).

You should bring the following:

  •  a lock to use at the cafe stop
  • a spare inner tube for your cycle and basic tools
  • extra layers and a waterproof - just in case
  • lights for return home / inclement weather
  • water 

 After the cafe stop we return to Stevenage, expecting to arrive back by 4:30pm (4pm in winter)

BOOKING ESSENTIAL: Groups limited to 8 riders - we will split the ride to form a second group if required.
