It is not a race nor a Sportive.

The start and finish is from The Cheshire View, Plough Lane, Christleton, Chester, CH3 7PT .  There is ample free parking at this location.

Booking in: starts at 8 - 8:30am for the 100 mile event

5th Saturday Skills: Bike Security!

When there's a 5th Saturday we don't do a ride, but we work on useful skills to help you cycle independently - such as how to fix a puncture, clean your bike or minimise the chances of it being stolen.

As on every 5th Saturday, we'll also be offering FREE Bike Register security marking. It's worth £13, which we'll waive for a donation if you can manage one (we use the money to buy parts, to help us fix bikes for free etc.). We'll also show you how to lock you bike in a way that might help deter thieves.

The annual Cyclists’ Memorial Service at the National Cyclists’ Memorial

Each year hundreds of cyclists from all over the UK come together in the West Midlands village of Meriden – traditionally regarded as the centre of England – to pay tribute to fallen cyclists.

Cyclists from around the country make their way to Meriden to attend a service to commemorate cyclists who have died in combat.

Wild Wales 2023

Welcome! This year will mark the 39th edition of this most prestigious cycling event, which features a different route each year, but always set amidst the spectacular scenery of North Wales. The event is NOT a race – but a traditional tourist challenge ride in which riders are invited to complete the course within a generous time allowance. Riders should note that the roads are NOT closed for this event and that they should ride with due care and consideration for other road users.

2024 Great Dorset Bike Ride

Traditional ride, 45th wonderful year, open to all and free. Just turn up with your bike or ebike at Top o' town car park in Dorchester and ride the route at your own pace. Last year had a great turn out after years of COVID restrictions. This year we hope to build on that success. The event is free of registration fees and details but, as in previous years, we are requesting charitable donations.

Women in Cycling - Cardiff

Cycling UK Cymru, Plan UK and Ysgol Greigiau Caerdydd want to invite you to a Women in cycling event hosted at the Bike Lock Cafe.

We want to celebrate women in cycling - women who are leaders in cycle clubs or communities, women who campaign to get more people on bikes and women who just love to ride bikes.

Join us and share your ideas and help us grow the women’s cycling community in Cardiff and the local area.

Drinks, coffee, snacks are available to purchase an there is plenty of secure bike parking.
