Fund a kilometre

You can help us create and launch the next awe-inspiring route in our Adventure Series of long-distance multi-day cycling trails. By donating as little as £1, you will receive exclusive early access to the route location and a GPX file sent to you prior to launch date.

Every donation helps to fund a kilometre of the route. If you donate £50 or more, you will also have the honour of having your name in the route guidebook. Anyone donating £250 or more will fund 5km of the route and receive an invitation to the route launch event which includes a pre-event ride on the new route.

Top secret location

The new route’s location will be kept firmly under wraps until the launch date. However, donating will ‘unlock the route’ – giving you exclusive early access to the route location and a GPX file of the route.

Exclusive benefits for all donors

Any amount you can donate helps, and all donors will get exclusive early access to the route’s secret location. We also want you to be the first to know how our next route is developing. With your donation we will give you insider access to:

  • Regular updates on the development of the new route
  • Early access to pre-order the route guide
  • The plotted GPX file on launch day

Did the Royal Chilterns Way Southern Loop last Saturday. Hats off to Cycling UK for another lovely route. Conditions were good and the off-road tracks were often fast rolling. Beautiful countryside and views. Looking forward to doing the rest

Since 2018 we’ve been creating stunning long-distance cycle routes across the UK, inspiring thousands of riders like you to take to the countryside, enjoying the very best of the UK’s natural landscapes and historic landmarks.

These routes aren’t just journeys – they’re opportunities for friendship, memory making and a great sense of achievement as you pedal that final mile.

In 2026 and beyond, we want to develop more of these routes so you and generations to come can explore the UK’s spectacular landscapes by cycle. We are inviting you to be part of this new route and bring more awe-inspiring miles of riding into reality.

What’s more, for every £1 you donate, the Gill Foundation will kindly match your gift so you can double your impact*.

Why your support matters

Your donation directly funds the design, mapping and promotion of our routes – as well as securing access and rights of way. With your help, we can continue developing awe-inspiring routes for generations to enjoy.

When you give, you’re not just supporting a project – you’re joining a movement that:

  • Immerses cyclists in the UK’s natural beauty
  • Encourages sustainable tourism
  • Supports local businesses along our routes
  • Opens up more of the countryside for all to explore

And remember: every £1 donated will be matched by The Gill Foundation*.

If you would prefer to donate by phone please call 01483 238301 and mention your donation is for routes appeal to ensure that it is match funded.

To donate by post please send a cheque made payable to Cycling UK to Parklands, Railton Road, Guildford, Surrey GU2 9JX.

*Match funding details: The Gill Foundation will match all donations. This will apply to one-off donations only from 26 February to 26 March 2026 but excludes any additional Gift Aid raised on donations.

**Every £50 raised could fund a km of route, every £1 raised above and beyond the cost of the 2026 route will go to fund future Adventure Series routes.
