5th Saturday Skills: Puncture Club & Bike Security!

When there's a 5th Saturday we don't do a ride, but we work on useful skills to help you cycle independently - such as how to fix a puncture or clean your bike. 

This time we'll be focussing on fixing punctures - the most likely thing to go wrong with your bike on a ride. Why rely on the off-chance that a Good Samaritan might stop (we all would!), calling a taxi or a partner, or (worst of all) walking home? We'll empower you to do it yourself.

As on every 5th Saturday, we'll also be offering FREE Bike Register security marking. It's worth £13, which we'll waive for a donation if you can manage one (we use the money to buy parts, to help us fix bikes for free etc.). We'll also show you how to lock you bike in a way that might help deter thieves.

It's from 11am at The Swan until 1pm. It's a great place to grab a drink or pub lunch too. 

Our Bike Kitchen Crew will be on-hand for FREE basic repairs & safety checks.

NB There's no on-street parking by The Swan, we recommend coming by bike - alternatively you can park nearby at Windsor Leisure Centre.
