Ride to Horsham in West Sussex

On Sunday 24 October, we'll be leaving at 10.15 from the Proper Cycling and Coffee café in Hassocks. We'll follow an interesting route to Horsham Carfax or Causeway for lunch at one of the many cafes, or bring a picnic lunch. 

Some gentle off road. Suspension not needed! Wealden tarmac to Horsham, short improved section of Downslink to Partridge Green, mainly quiet lanes to Fulking. Choice of returns to Brighton from there.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, something to eat and drink, sunscreen and/or waterproofs as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK's Covid guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. Be prepared to give a contact phone number at the start of a ride.
