Liz Colebrook is part of Cycling UK's 100 Women in Cycling 2018 list for her incredible talent for framebuilding.

Liz Colebrook has worked in the bike trade since 1986, but she discovered her true passion just four years ago when she got into framebuilding. She now runs Beaumont Bicycle in Shropshire, a company providing lightweight, bespoke bicycles. This year, one of Liz’s step through designs won the ‘Outstanding Design’ award at the Bespoked handbuilt bicycle show in Bristol. Liz is without a doubt one of the most skilled bespoke bike builders in the UK, and works hard to encourage more women to get into the industry.

Liz is also a valued contributer to the Cycling UK website, writing articles to share her invaluable expertise on how different bicycles are put together and what this means for riders. Her training as an occupational therapist means she has a comprehensive understanding of how a bike fits a person.

Liz describes her job as, “Transforming a person’s dream into reality, adding all the benefit of my knowledge and experience to make the finished product a dream to ride.”
