Prerequisites
The mountain bike Night Leader module extends the remit of Trail and Technical Leader or higher, to lead rides between dusk and dawn.
In addition to the requirements of the Trail and Technical Leader qualification, candidates must also:
- Be confident on non-technical and technical terrain during night-time conditions
- Understand use of lights to aid riding
- Be able to carry out a leadership role while riding in night-time conditions
- Have participated in a minimum of 10 night rides in two or more types of terrain and area
