Stevenage Station Secure Cycle Parking

Secure cycle parking at Stevenage station opened in June. 

There are 3 rooms, 2 for standard cycles and a third for non-standard including adapted cycles and cargo bikes. Access is via the Spokesafe App - details at www.Spokesafe.com

Cycling UK Stevenage raised  concerns about the accessibility of double decker racks when they were first proposed but were told by SBC that they had to be used due to the restricted space.

We have shared concerns about how the racking moves in use. The video shows how it tends to spring up suddenly with force compared to how the more substantial racking at the outdoor station cycle parking moves in a slower more controlled manner.
