"Steady Saturday" Repair Cafe ride via Alvingham Book Exchange. 8miles

8.50am for a 9.00 am start from the Merdian Leisure Centre Louth.  We should be back for 10pm when the Repair Cafe opens its doors.

It's the 2nd sat of the month and that means Repair Cafe.  A simple bike around Alvingham and then a coffee and cake at Repair Cafe (Community Hub), Park Av., Louth.  Several members of the Steady Saturday Group are volunteer's at the Repair Cafe.  Why not check you bike over and do some repairs or just have a coffee and piece of cake for a small donation.

Also why not take some books down to the red telephone book exchange and swap it out for

Photo:  Swap out of a Locked up Cube CK1 10s freehub.  Note you need a Chain whip, Shimano HG Cassette removal tool, Large spanner, Dead blow mallet, and a14mm Allen for this particular free hub.  They're tight.

Theres many types of freehub so it pays to make sure you've got the right tool for the job.  Its often easier to buy a new (or 2nd hand) hub and transplant the rim and spokes, but that goes against the whole ethos of the Repair Cafe.  Thou shall struggle and wrap one's knuckles.
