Cycle Friendly Places
Cycle Friendly Places is a new accreditation programme developed by Cycling UK, equipping hospitality and accommodation businesses in Cornwall, Kent and Norfolk with new skills, resources and knowledge to broaden their appeal to cycle tourists. Accredited businesses will enjoy exclusive benefits including:
- a free equipment bundle (such as tools, a pump, locks and First Aid kit)*
- training in digital marketing, cycle maintenance and route knowledge
- promotion through Cycling UK’s Cyclists Welcome directory of places to stay and eat for anyone planning a cycle trip.
Accreditation is completely free of charge thanks to co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund via the EXPERIENCE project

A guide to becoming a Cycle Friendly Place
To be eligible to become a Cycle Friendly Place, Accommodation businesses (hotels, b&bs, camp sites, hostels, bunkbarns) and Hospitality businesses (pubs, cafes, tearooms restaurants) must meet all of the essential and three of the desired criteria in their designated category.
