Marina returned to cycling in 2013, after a 20-year break. She started by cycling to work but realised she wanted to ride for leisure too. 

In 2018 Marina joined CTC Coventry. She's now a ride leader who adapts all her rides to be as inclusive and accessible as possible. She encourages new riders, especially women, as well as those who are hard of hearing, learning finger spelling along the way.

"I've been leading weekly 'women only' rides to engage more women in this fun, healthy and sociable activity - also to help them gain confidence in riding with a mixed group."
