Engineer turned World Record breaking athlete and triathlon champion, Kate has now turned away from competitive sport to use cycling as a vehicle for connection.

Climate Cycle took Kate 3,300 miles around Britain on a handmade bamboo bike, speaking at local schools and businesses, and volunteering at local charities, to discuss mitigating climate change and highlight action we can all take.

“Cycling enables me to connect to nature more than any other means of transport and once I know something, I typically want to protect it. Personally, I think cycling is the best form of active activism.”
