Growing up in a ‘no-car’ household meant that Corrinna cycled everywhere as a child – she still remembers feeling proud when she passed her cycling proficiency test. She has worked for Telford and Wrekin council, promoting cycling, for more than 10 years, leading events and supporting all sorts of people to ride. In 2009 she trained as a Bikeability instructor and has since taught thousands of children and some adults and teenagers to ride bikes safely on the roads.

“I’ve never not had a bike, and my children have continued that, with all three still keen cyclists in their 20s.”
