This National Trail is one of the country’s most popular off-road endurance routes, having become the first long-distance bridleway to be designated in Britain in 1972, and listed under Cycling Uk’s great rides.

This trip is not to be under estimated; the elevation gain in 160km is nearly twice of some of our other trips.

Commonly cited as one of cycling's greatest of all time, multiple national champion, seven times world champion, and record holder against both men and women, Beryl Burton set a standard that hasn't been touched since.

In Beryl Burton, Summer Calendar of Sport (1986) we look back at a life spent racing through the 1960s, 1970s and beyond, offering a candid interview with Beryl herself and a looking at a typical race day at her local TT. 

Join us at our basecamp at a comfortable campsite in the New Forest, with a vast array of gravel tracks close by, were sure to enjoy some great gravel biking. With no fixed ride planned , we can spend the weekend , looking at route planning , equipment choices ,rigging tarp tents. Everyone will get the chance to fit and ride loaded bikes with full bikepacking kit …. if you want.

Its a great opportunity see what bike packing is all about. We’ll be cooking , eating outside. Think campfires , wood fired pizzas!
