Ride leader handbook

This handbook is a practical guide for Cycling UK ride leaders, supporting the planning, delivery and review of safe and enjoyable group rides. It covers every stage of leading a ride, from route planning and risk management, to leading confidently and handling post ride responsibilities such as incident reporting and safeguarding. 

Suitable for both new and experienced ride leaders, it sets out Cycling UK’s ride leader standards and provides clear guidance to build confidence and good practice across a range of group rides.
