Earldon Wheelers are not a club in the traditional sense. There is no membership, no fees, no committee and no commitee meetings. We are an informal group who get together to go for bike rides.
The Earlsdon Wheelers go for rides of about 20 to 50 miles in areas around Coventry and Warwickshire.
Although we have a scheduled programme, we sometimes add extra rides which are of course publicised.
We will also arrange rides to suit particular needs - say for children on quiet off road routes.
Before you read any further - we want you to have a safe ride - and have prepared some brief documentation to advise on this. This is at the Cycling Safety section of our forum.
Enjoy cycling with us.
Earlsdon Wheelers are a CTC affilated group. For more information please go to the Earlsdon Wheelers Website.
We ride every Saturday throughout the year. All Saturday rides are planned for a 9.30am start, except around the early months of the New Year.
We have now started to run 2 Saturday rides - A faster brisk ride and a slower steady ride. More often than not both groups have the same destination, but sometimes this is not suitable. Where possible both groups will meet up for a refreshment break.
During the summer months starting late April we also ride on both Tuesday and Wednesday evening, normally with an 18.30 start. All scheduled rides can be found on our Forum.
Sometimes we organise extra ad-hoc rides. These will also be notified on our Forum.
