About us
Bikeaway Ventures is an established organisation situated in the Vale of Evesham. It has, as part of a wider group been hosting cycling events for over 20 years and one of its main aims is to raise money for local charities in and around the Vale of Evesham. Bikeaway Ventures wants to promote a healthy lifestyle though cycling and hopes to improve the Vale’s cycling community.
Bikeaway Ventures are heavily associated with various charities, especially the Pershore Unit of St John Ambulance and Vale of Evesham Community First Responders.
Bikeaway Ventures have two established events; Blossom Bikeaway and Plum Bikeaway. The Blossom Bikeaway starts and finishes at Hampton Ferry and takes you along the sign posted Blossom Trail, providing you with the opportunity to witness the best blossom the Vale has to offer.
The Plum Bikeaway takes place after the famous Pershore Plum festival. This cycling event begins and finishes at Pershore College and will take you around Bredon Hill offering stunning views of the Vale.
The Plum Peddle Push has celebrate its second year in 2018 and is held in Abby Park, Pershore with the aim of promoting cycling to children as well as celebrating the Plum Festival. Participants are encouraged to dress their bikes and self in purple to get into the Plum Festival spirits.
