Ride and event organiser insurance

If you organise cycling activities for a club, group or workplace, for peace of mind you should have insurance, that is why Cycling UK provides Organisers' Liability cover.

For just £75 your cycling group will be covered for a year, for up to £10 million liability, to organise and run rides and cycling events. (Note that Cycling UK Member Groups do not have to pay an affiliation fee to obtain this cover.)

The Wrong Way Round Bike Ride, which has been going for seven years, and most recently saw 135 people taking part. With volunteers working as marshalls, liaison with the local police and highways authorities, it could feel like a stressful job. But the local club has the peace of mind that our insurance covers their event, so they don't have to waste any time hunting out the right type of event cover, they can just focus on organising a great day of cycling. Whether it's small or large, we have your event covered.
