New Plans for Aldi Carpark

Cycling UK Stevenage - along with many individuals - objected to the proposed plans to extend Aldi car park and remove the existing path that runs around the perimeter of the car park. Details of our objections can be found here

Aldi have now submitted a revised plan which now includes a new shared use path around the perimeter of the extended car park - thus retaining the link. 
Amended Layout Plan

• Hertfordshire County Council have responded welcoming the revised layout but have asked for some further improvements to ensure pedestrian and cyclist safety.

• Additionally we are raising concerns about the removal of the existing cycle parking at the pedestrian/cycling entrance to the car park from Ditchmore Lane.
