Inaugural ride - Glandford "Natural Surroundings" wildflower centre and café

After heavy rain for what has seemed like weeks, and a dark, wet Saturday, we were supremely lucky to awake on Sunday 27 October to blue sky and sunshine for our first group ride. We took the local lanes and B roads through Briningham, Brinton and Sharrington to the wildlfower centre and café near Glandford, returning via Letheringsett and Thornage to complete the 12-mile loop. The centre is great for cake, watching woodland birds on the well-stocked feeders and their encyclopaedic knowledge of native plants. A great day to be out in the North Norfolk countryside.
