Annual General Meeting coming up on 28 March 2026 at 2pm

Cornerstone Community Centre is a converted church and the venue for our 2026 AGM

Dear Cycling UK member,

I’m inviting you to our Annual General Meeting coming up on 28 March 2026 at 2pm at the Cornerstone Community Centre, Brunswick room (ground floor), Church Road, Hove, East Sussex BN3 2F.

We are the local Cycling UK member group for Brighton and Hove and parts of West Sussex, an area covering the postcodes BN1, BN2, BN3, BN41, BN42, BN43 and BN6.

We have enjoyed many cycle rides throughout the year. We post our Sunday rides to our web page, Blue Sky, Facebook, Strava and Instagram sites along with some local news and events.

Members are active on cycling and transport issues, advocating for cycling with Brighton & Hove City Council, West Sussex County Council and other authorities.

We welcome new riders, new ride leaders and anyone who would like to become more involved with a range of activities.

The draft minutes of the last AGM 2025 and the agenda for this year's AGM on 28 March are attached.

The meeting should only take about one hour. We’ll review the past year and agree who’s doing what in the coming year. I would be grateful if you could reply to this email [email protected] if you can attend. This helps with the organisation. Please bring your Cycling UK membership card with you so that you can vote and/or stand for a position if you wish.

Last but not least: we are currently in the process of producing a new Brighton & Hove Cycling UK jersey.

It is on offer to all Cycling UK members in our area.  If you are interested, please email us for details about costs and the order process.

We also have a try-on meet up with jersey samples on Wednesday 11 March, from 7.30 to 9.30pm at the Bison Beach Bar, Sea Lanes, 300 Madeira Drive, Brighton. Please feel free to join us. See the attached document for a preview of the design.

Hope to see you soon!

Regards,

Moritz Schick

Secretary, Brighton and Hove Cycling UK
