Windsor Cycle Hub

We believe that cycling is for everyone!
Come down to The Swan, in Clewer Village, Windsor - for rides, repairs & refreshments. We meet every Saturday from 11am.

Very occasionally, we'll do an Away Day from The Swan to another Windsor location, like the W&E Brewery. Follow us here and on social media for regular updates.

We're an inclusive group, NOT a club, 100% run by volunteers. Our wider goal is to help make Windsor an even nicer place to live by helping people get out of cars and onto bikes. We'll make sure your bike's safe to ride (fixing it for free* if need be), we'll even teach you how to ride (currently adults only), help with your riding skills and show you quiet places to ride in the town and surrounding countryside.

We're proud to be affiliated with Cycling UK - we share the same values. We think cycling should be for all, no matter you age, fitness, gender, means, race, creed and so on. We'd love to meet you.

The social aspect of Windsor Cycle Hub is as important as riding bikes. We meet in a community owned pub (serving local Windsor and Eton beer, it also does nice coffee too), the pre and post ride chats are a big part of what we do.

We also ride slowly enough to allow chats while cycling too. Our visitors really enjoy talking to others and learning new things – like what TV series that funny looking church in Dorney was in.

We think that cycling's all about slowing down a bit, taking in your surroundings and enjoying yourself. Our repair service is very popular, you may need to wait over an hour (did we mention we're in a pub?!), and our rides can take longer than expected because someone had a puncture, we all decided to pick blackberries - or we waited for the slowest rider to keep up.

We believe in doing one thing a day and savouring it - so if you've got an appointment or need to rush off somewhere afterwards, then it's probably better to come another week when you've got more time.

As mentioned, we're 100% volunteer run - we do this because we love cycling, care about our town and the wider environment. Our volunteers benefit from this as much as our visitors. Many of the latter go on to become volunteers.

We're always looking for confident cyclists to help on rides, people who can fix bikes, or people who aren't so sure about either - but are keen to learn. We need friendly people to cover 'Meet and Greet' and we really need people to help with IT and social media.

You can get in touch here or, better still, come to The Swan and see if Windsor Cycle Hub's for you.

Be seeing you.
