Ride from Lewes to the Laughing Fish in Isfield
Event description
ALL OUR RIDES ARE WEATHER DEPENDENT. PLEASE CHECK FOR ANY UPDATES ON THE MORNING OF THE RIDE.
On Sunday 18th January, we'll be leaving promptly at 10.30 am from the cycle parking outside the Costa café at Tesco's superstore in Lewes, BN7 2BY.
We'll cycle to a traditional pub, The Laughing Fish in Isfield for lunch. It's at Station Road, Isfield, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 5XB.
Please let the ride leader know if you are going to eat at the pub. See 'Contact details' to email him.
If you prefer, bring your own lunch and find a spot nearby to eat.
We will then head back to Lewes, where the ride will end. This will be a gentle ride of about 25 miles.
Make your own way home from Lewes e.g. by train (if they're running) or via the Lewes-Brighton cycle path Regional Route 90.
If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and enough to drink, sunscreen/waterproofs/warm clothing as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK guidance and the Highway Code. Check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. See contact details below.
There is a simple signing on process at the beginning of the ride. Please inform the ride leader if you have a medical condition that might affect your ride.
