Ride to Heaven Farm at Furner's Green in East Sussex

On Sunday 10th May we'll leave promptly at 10:30 am from the Circa in the Park takeaway kiosk near the entrance to Stanmer Park, Brighton, BN1 9QA. Arrive earlier if you want to have a coffee!

We'll ride through the countryside with lunch at Heaven Farm's café/restaurant.

Going out we'll take the A275 from Lewes via Cooksbridge, Barcombe Cross, Sharpsbridge, Piltdown, Fletching, Sheffield Green, Heaven Farm.

Return via Scaynes Hill, Wivelsfield, Ditchling. 

Returning home from Ditchling there is a choice of Ditchling Beacon, Clayton or Hurstpierpoint (for a westerly direction). 

Approximate distance Stanmer to Ditchling 35 miles.

Please note: All our rides are weather-dependent. If the weather looks bad, a ride will be cancelled!

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and enough to drink, sunscreen/waterproofs/warm clothing as appropriate. Don't forget your lights if you expect to be out in the hours of darkness. Please follow Cycling UK guidance and the Highway Code. There is a simple signing on process at the beginning of the ride. Please inform the ride leader if you have a medical condition that might affect your ride.
