Ride from Hassocks to the Victory Inn at Staplefield

On Sunday 23rd November, we'll be leaving at 10.30 am from the west side of Hassocks train station.

We'll cycle to a traditional pub, the Victory Inn in Staplefield for lunch, aiming to arrive at about 12.15 pm. The Victory Inn is at Warninglid Road, Staplefield, RH17 6EU.

There is also the the option of bringing your own picnic to have on Staplefield village green (weather permitting) where there are seats for anyone who doesn’t want to have a pub lunch.

This will be a ride of about 25 miles beginning and ending at Hassock train station.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Don't forget your lights. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and enough to drink, waterproofs and warm clothing as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. See contact details below. 

Please be prepared to give contact phone numbers at the start of a ride (e.g. your own and a family member/friend in case there is a problem) and give them to the ride leader.
