Llanfair

From Poynton across Cheshire, along the North Wales Coast and across Anglesey and back. We use some good quality cyclepaths and quiet roads, seeing North Wales at its best.
There are optional climbs of Halkyn Mountain and Sychnant Pass with spectacular views, or you can follow the coast. Night-time navigation is easy, with plenty of 24 hour petrol stations to sustain you through the night. We start at a civilised time with tea and coffee at Poynton Methodist Church, and hope that the wonderful Wildflowers cafe on Anglesey will host us again at the halfway point (but this will be confirmed closer to the event date). There is a church hall finish with hot drinks and food and a chance of a nap before setting off home.

There is pay as you go parking at the start via the ringo app and Poynton train station is less than 2k from the start. There is a Travelodge at Adlington and camping at Elm Beds Caravan Park, both less than 3km away from the start.
