Glow ride - Glasgow - Ride Bright

Please note this ride is only open to women and girls aged 16+.

This ride is part of the My ride. Our right mass glow rides night of action. Together, we’ll light up the night and call for safer streets and better cycling infrastructure, especially for women riding after dark.

Ride Bright is all about raising awareness of women's safety cycling at night. 3 out of 4 women in the UK change their outdoor activity routines during the winter months - and many for safety reasons. Whether it's avoiding unlit paths, altering routes, or stopping cycling at night altogether. We are on a mission to change this.

On Ride Bright we reclaim the streets with lights, music and joy. We ran the first Ride Bright on International Women's Day and it was absolutely amazing with more than 100 women riding together, lighting up the streets.

We gather outside The Social Hub Glasgow at 4pm and the ride starts at 4.30pm. The ride finishes at Glasgow Collective where there will be refreshments and we get to hang out and chat. You can also explore the Women's Wellbeing Week Pop-Up Market which is taking place at Glasgow Collective at the same time. It will be great fun!

The ride will be about an hour and finish at roughly 5.30pm. You can choose whether you want to head home afterwards or whether you want to join us at Glasgow Collective. If you join us at Glasgow Collective we need to be out by 7pm.

Bring lights and if you can, decorate your bike with more lights, colours and banners.
