Family Social Ride

‘Social Rides’ take place on traffic free cycle paths at a gently pace. Suitable for all ages, enabling parents and kids in bike seats/ trailers AND kids cycling themselves to come together, enjoy the views and sometimes even having a cakey shaped treat! Rides last about 1 and half hours.

Book a place in advance by calling Aggie on 0191 230 2273 or emailing aggie@parentingnortheast.org.uk (at least 24 hours before an activity is due to take place). If you don't have your own child bike seat/ trailer make sure you tell Aggie that you need one! Please allow extra time to have your bike set up with this before an activity starts.Due to limited places booking is compulsory.

If you don’t have your own bike, then you can book one for a 'Discounted Parenting North East' rate of £5 by contacting the hires centre at The Cycle Hub 0191 276 7250 (this needs to be done at least 24 hours before an activity is due to take place). Happy Pedalling!
