Rachael is a dedicated campaigner for cycling. She joined Cycling UK’s Cycling Advocacy Network to learn more about campaigning. She has taught herself all about local government and knows all the key councillors, giving her a powerful voice for cycling in Leicestershire. She is keen to get more people cycling.

“I started campaigning in 2021 after my husband and I jumped in the car to drive a mile or so to the surgery for our Covid jabs. We ended up in parking chaos and realised how stupid we had been to drive. I also started to notice how few children, particularly girls, cycle.”
