Nic started off-road riding in 2019 when her boyfriend bought her a second-hand Genesis Croix De Fir for her 30th birthday. On finding out that there were no women-led off-road rides in her local Hampshire, in October 2020 she set off for a ride with five other women and the New Forest Off Road Club was born. In addition to led rides, the club now offers maintenance classes, workshops and other events aimed at women and non-binary people, championing inclusivity in cycling.
