Together with Anna Riddell and Fiona Finnie, Katie May co-founded Limitlass festival; a women’s mountain biking festival in Aberdeenshire aiming to grow, connect and empower the community.

Katie threw herself into the deep end of enduro racing in 2019, though she soon found a lack of relatable women in racing. To encourage more women to race she trained as a mountain bike leader and put on pre-race women’s rides.

“This passion for the progression of female mountain biking led to the idea of Limitlass. I roped in Anna and Fiona, two inspirational female coaches, and the Limitlass trio was born.”
