As an ambassador for Wonderful Wild Women, Kate promotes outdoor adventures for women. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2016 and credits being able to escape to the hills on her bike as crucial to her recovery. She helped create a 36-hour relay challenge to raise money for cancer research. She is an ambassador for Rider Resilience, a CIC promoting stories of resilience to encourage anyone facing adversity to cycle.
