For the past 16 years Helen Hemstock has worked in charities supporting people to cycle through bike recycling schemes, cycle confidence training and work placement programmes in bike workshops. She is now the Chief Executive of Ridewise and chair of the Cycling and Walking Group for Nottingham. Over the past four years she has secured over £1million of funding for community focused cycling schemes
