Following redundancy, Annette set up Community Recycle Cycles as a CIC in 2012, providing access to affordable bikes maintained by highly qualified mechanics. It has saved over 7000 bikes from landfill, provided volunteer opportunities to people with additional needs, allowing them to upskill and access employment, and through bike sales and repairs made cycling accessible to those on limited incomes.
