My ride. Our right - glow rides

Glow rides are back on 22 October 2026

Last year, thousands of people lit up the streets in 67 towns and cities across the UK as part of Cycling UK's ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign. This year, we're doing it all again, with the glow rides kindly supported by Altura and CatEye, and we'd love you to be part of it.

Glow rides are a colourful celebration of cycling that shine a light on the need for safer streets and better cycle routes, especially for women riding after dark. Together, we can show decision makers that more needs to be done to make cycling feel safe and accessible for everyone.

You can now start finding glow rides near you and register to take part. More events will be added regularly, so if there isn't one close by just yet, keep checking back to see what's been added to the map.

Women-led and open to everyone, glow rides are organised by local people and community groups across the UK.
