- Sunday starting at 10am and cycling around 40 miles (60 kilometres) at a slower average speed than on Wednesday. There is a lunch break and occasionally an afternnon cafe stop.
- Tuesday starting at 6.30pm in the summer (i.e. May to Aug) – shorter – about 20 miles (30 kilometres) at a relaxed pace.
There are also regular rides organised for cyclists based in the Borders .

How to join our rides
Our group rides are continuing to be extremely popular and we are delighted to see many new members coming along.
On Wednesdays and Sundays:
We feel that it is appropriate to allow the number of places on a ride to be at the discretion of the leader.
This will encourage new leaders to come forward without the concern that they might be overwhelmed by riders and to allow experienced leaders to offer as many places as they wish. In these cases rides will continue to be bookable by text to secure a places on a first come first served basis.
However some leaders will be happy for members just to turn up at the start point in good time without the need to book.
It is therefore essential that you read the details of the ride on the Groups.io email to check how to join the ride.
On Tuesday evenings:
As the numbers expected are smaller, there is no need to book. Please just turn up at the Commonwealth Pool at 6.30pm.
To join the email group, please email Bill Crook <firstname.lastname@example.org> with a few words about yourself and your cycling experience.
