Women on Bikes is a Cycling UK's affiliated Community Cycle Club and a CIC which aims to inspire and enable women of all backgrounds and ages to cycle.

About us


Women on Bikes was launched in March 2020 as part of Cycle of Life and became a Cycling UK's affiliated Community Cycling Club and a CIC in 2023. The club aims to provide regular cycling activities for women, the main goal is to improve women's physical and mental health and to engage with women from different backgrounds and in different age groups.

Information about the group rides


We currently offer two rides per week:
- Friday rides at 9.30am
- Wednesday Learn to Ride session for beginners at 9.30am
- Social Sunday ride at 10am for women who can bring their own bike.

We run our sessions from Greenbank Sports Academy, Greenbank Ln, Liverpool L17 1AG. All our rides are led by trained volunteer ride leaders. Not got a bike? No problem! Bikes and helmets can be provided free of charge.
