Wednesday Wander and Rides Meeting 25th February 2026

Cycling UK Louth's Wedneday Wander 25th February 2026

Wednesday dawned misty and drizzly but we had been promised a true taste of Spring with sunny skies by 10 am, temperatures rising to an unseasonably mild 16 Degrees Celsius later in the afternoon.

A large list of apologies for today's Wednesday Wander but stalwarts John Rickett and Paul Linder would join Tim Newbery for a ride and a meet up at the Café@Mimi's, Manby. For Tim a return to 'road biking' (the excuse of brakes binding to explain his slowness didn't pass muster). 

A short ride in increasingly sunny and warm conditions was however pleasant enough and there was ample time for a chat over mugs of coffee and a flapjack in Manby. Returned exactly on schedule at 12 noon for the meeting at Tim's.

Following much discussion and with suggestions from Steve and Ty, we now have a provisional listing for our rides in the Spring Month's of March, April and May (and a few suggestions into June too).

Future Events:

The Club's 40th Anniversary Lunch is due to go ahead on Wednesday 29th April 2026, the meal to start at 12 noon. Just to confirm that the club is booked into "The Little Village Tea Shop", Saltfleetby. I'll need to know numbers/expression of interest in March.
