"Steady Saturday" Louth to Scamblesby/Goulcby 18/7/26

Thanks to Tim, Mark and Harvey and Ty for riding out to Scamblesby. Setting off at 9.00am and home by 12pm.  A cool cloudy day and possibly a welcome end to the heat wave. The riders set off from Louth towards Cawthorpe.  The thatched cottage by the duck pond was greatly admired by the group and a pair of ducks have moved into the duck house.  Then up through Haugham reedings to Scamblesby.  Alas the Green Man at Scamblesby does not open to 12pm but its good to see it has reopened as a community pub as it has been closed for 3 years.  The 3 Horseshoes at Gouclby was open and it caters extremely well for campers, hikers and cyclist.  Young Harvey then tested his legs climbing Red Hill as he is training for his Time Trialing.
