"Steady Saturday" Louth to Manby 30th August 2025

A warm but windy 8am start.  Today's riders: Ty, Tim, Sue, Mick and Sven.

Setting off from the Merdian Leisure Centre and going North out of Louth to Alvingham via Brackenbourgh Woods greatly aided with a back-wind.  Way ahead of schedule the group extended the ride by circumnavigating the Cockeringtons using Chapel Lane to Read Leas and then Pick Hill Lane.  Crossing the old railway line and popping out in Gimboldby.  Then straight into Manby where we made a stop at Mimi's Mission and Cafe.  Coffee, Cake and Beans on Toast all round.   

We would then carry on through Little Carlton over to Legbourne.  Using Furze Lane to work our way over to the short but busy section of the Manby Road.  Down through the Parish of Stewton and back to the Leisure Centre for 11am for yet another Coffee.  Pefect weather and perfect Saturday ride.
