"Steady Saturday" Louth to Covenham Resevoir 30/5/26

Louth to Covenham Reservoir and back 15miles.

 

Starting today : Ty, Tim, Harvey, Sue, James, Derek, and Mark.

The weather was perfect as we travelled out through Brackenbough, Yarbough and through Covenham St Mary to the Resevoir.

The reservoir is used by Covenham Sailing Club and today was a "Sailability" open day event.

The group was warmly welcomed by the Sailing Club and refreshments and home made cake was kindly available from the club house.  Ty would have preferred to stay for another cake but the group were keen to get back in the saddle and we would take a detour on the way home to call at Shaws Fruit and Vegetables Merchants to collect the weekly groceries.
